Catchup

I'm deep into the first draft of the next Guild Hunter book and things are starting to come together. After I post this blog, I'm off to write a super-duper-awesome fight scene.

What're you all up to?

I'm on my reading week, so I have decided to finally start doing some serious work, but it's so hard because in my mind if I have a week off, I'm supposed to have fun. Wow! What a super duper long sentence!

Groan. I so want to read over your shoulder as you write that fight scene!

It's Mardi Gras today so I had a double dose of it. My library had a staff party with sweets and a raffle. Then this evening I went to a Mardi Gras potluck dinner. It was great fun.

Tomorrow, back to work....

Just discovered the first Guild Hunter book, read it twice in the last 24 hours, have the second arriving in 2 days from Amazon - so thrilled to know you're at work on the third!

But, in the meantime, I'm reading a 103 page contract, trying not to fall asleep - bleah!

On Tuesday and Wednesday I shifted the contents of my house back and forth as new carpet was laid. House is still a mess as I slowly put everything back where it belongs, amd my arms and shoulders may never be the same again, but the carpet looks great!

I am trying to get my Google Reader back down to zero before I go to sleep. Also, watching some ondemand TV.

I should really try reading a few books over the next few weeks. I did HEAPS of reading before Christmas and I think I burnt myself out.

:)

Hope the fight scene turned out well!

Yay!!! 3rd Guild hunter book. I hope it is still centered on Elena and Raphael? I must cultivate patience. Another year until this book comes out! Oh well, at least I have the Psy/Changeling book to enjoy in April :)

Oh no! I just realised Bonds of Justice is only out in July 2010!!! Argh!

I'm so glad to hear you're already hard at work on book 3! I just finished my second reading of Angel's Blood and am almost through my second reading of Archangel's Kiss. :-D

I want more Illium in book 3 please. LOL.

I am trying to look busy at work as I figure out how to shift into a bug so I can sit on your wall and get the scoop on the next Guild book. Okay I am really checking out my reader feed and taking a coffee break.

Watching the Olympics and participating in the Knitting Olympics--a personal challenge to start and finish a project during the Olympics. I'm knitting a lace shawl, my frist lace project and first shawl project. I had some doubts before, but it's going so well that I think I might actually finish it before the closing ceremonies. :D

Also, reading Beyond the Night by Joss Ware. Thanks for the recommendation!

Fight scene? Can't you give us a few hints? A cat fight perhaps?

Spent all day learning how to do screencaps and then collecting them for my new Bollywood blog! I learned something new and it was fun!

You know, it's tough that we can't write as fast as we read. It would be so nice to whip out a book in, oh, 4 hours or so... Sigh. ;)

By the way, I gave you an award on my blog yesterday, 'cause you're such a great person. And a great writer. (Do with it as you will.)

I really need to go to work this a.m. Sigh again.

Fight scene? Who's fighting?!!! Is it a cat fight like Diane said? Oh, the agony! I got A's in spelling in elementary so if you need a spell-checker I'm your lady! he he

Did someone say Clay and Tally? And here I thought I'd re-read AK again after reading some Mercy Thompson.

I am late but I have reasons to brag because I have started the early stages of development on my documentary! I am excited and stressed but more excited then stressed.
