Good morning from Germany,
I have finished and enjoyed this weeks new releases "Dragon healer" by Bianca d´Arc and "The wicked" a Novella of The Elder Races by Thea Harrison. At the moment I am giving "Affliction" the newes Anita Blake Book by Laurell K. Hamilton a try. For this series I have to say that it is - for me - the last chance. The Anita Blake serie started so great but the last books were so bad.... It is only the hope that keeps me reading.
Follow will "MacRieve" the new Immortals after Dark book by Kresley Cole, "Hungry lika a Wolf" by Christine Warren (Other) and "Inked Destiny" by Jory Strong(Inked Magic World).
Greetings from Germany
Cony

The Circle of Magic Quartet by Tamora Pierce. I love all her books, she is one of the few authors who manage to naturally have both strong female and male character's in their books as though it were a matter of course. I can count on one hand the number of authors who manage to do that. And Tamora is definitely the best in that respect.
I always recommend her books to anyone of all ages both girls and boys, and they're great if you have just been reading something like Robert Jordan's Wheel of time series. -Which is great, but will give you headaches with the sheer twisty turny nature of it's plot and characters.- Tamora is in no way predictable, but she is always absorbing without having to resort to the series killing motto that some authors have... you know, the one that goes "As an author, it's my job to make terrible things happen to my characters!" .... That's why I can never recommend many authors like Richelle Mead. I love her Vampire Academy series, but I haven't been able to go near her last few books, because I know they'll just break my heart again.
That's one reason why I love you so much Nalini. Stuff happens in you're books, but I know I can always trust you to never take it too far and actually make me loose all hope. It's authors like you and Tamora that keep me reading! :D

I am currently reading Thea Harrison's Elder Races Series. Diving into book four right now.

And I agree with Conny (from Germany) the Anita Blake series took a dive for the worst, I haven't touched the last 5 or so books in the series.

Looking forward to the next Guild Hunter book Nalini!
